[The Archidoxical Order of Magi]

"The problem of life is man. MAGIC, or rather Wisdom, is the evolved knowledge of the potencies of man's interior being; which forces are Divine emanations, as intuition is the perception of their origin, and initiation our induction into that knowledge. . . . We begin with instinct; the end is OMNISCIENCE." — A. WILDER.

No true theosophist, from the most ignorant up to the most learned, ought to claim infallibility for anything he may say or write upon occult matters. The chief point is to admit that, in many a way, in the classification of either cosmic or human principles, in addition to mistakes in the order of evolution, and especially on metaphysical questions, those of us who pretend to teach others more ignorant than ourselves — are all liable to err. Thus mistakes have been made in "Isis Unveiled," in "Esoteric Buddhism," in "Man," in "Magic: White and Black," etc., etc.; and more than one mistake is likely to be found in the present work. This cannot be helped. For a large or even a small work on such abstruse subjects to be entirely exempt from error and blunder, it would have to be written from its first to its last page by a great adept, if not by an Avatar. Then only should we say, "This is verily a work without sin or blemish in it!" But, so long as the artist is imperfect, how can his work be perfect? "Endless is the search for truth!" Let us love it and aspire to it for its own sake, and not for the glory or benefit a minute portion of its revelation may confer on us. For who of us can presume to have the whole truth at his fingers' ends, even upon one minor teaching of Occultism?
–Madame Helena Petrovna Blavatsky

The work of the Magickal Lodge is quite distinct in nature; it's sole function being to produce New Gnosis, as found in two important holy books, Liber CDXVIII & Liber CCXXXI and in the Enochian Liber Loagaeth. That means a "fresh fever from the skies" or a continual production of communication with the Secret Chiefs or those higher intelligences that look over the evolution of humanity. If indeed as we propose, humanity is evolving, then the nature of the relationship between humanity and these astral emissaries must also be in a constant state of change; requiring this continual contact and revelation. The work begins of course, by preparing humanity individually and collectively for Initiation. And it continues with the shamanistic work of producing prophecy, which in our case, involves the Enochian tradition as it has been handed down through the Master Therion, Dr. John Dee & Edward Kelly, and all those Gnostic Saints that originated with the ancient Jewish mages that formulated the original Merkabah tradition. Remember, the Jews have the half. That is what our holy book teaches us. And to such ends, there are those rites that promote the culture of the Lodge and build its morale. These we also demonstrate as shown below; along with a basic outline of our Initiation instructions. Mystery is the enemy of truth. We withhold nothing that would ask the candidate to blindly accept Initiation with us. This has clearly led to the worst egotistic hypocrisies in the Western Mystery Tradition. And it's time for such idiocy to come to an end. Feel free to check out the waters before we ask you to swim with us; or before you ask us for a swim. Take measure and make sure the water is clean, healthy and wholesome. We promise nothing accept the space for you to get out of this experience what you put into it, as we attempt to build a meritocracy outside of the usual false hierarchies.

"There are rituals of the elements and feasts of the times.A feast for the first night of the Prophet and his Bride!A feast for the three days of the writing of the Book of the Law.A feast for Tahuti and the child of the Prophet–secret, O Prophet!A feast for the Supreme Ritual, and a feast for the Equinox of the Gods.A feast for fire and a feast for water; a feast for life and a greater feast for death!A feast every day in your hearts in the joy of my rapture!A feast every night unto Nu, and the pleasure of uttermost delight!Aye! feast! rejoice! there is no dread hereafter. There is the dissolution, and eternal ecstasy in the kisses of Nu."–AL II:36-44

These archives are the store house for our translations of the Enochian Holy Books; being derived from Liber Loagaeth, as well as other prophetic works within and without the Thelemic paradigm. The ancient Greek mystery religions taught that the vision of a god makes one divine; picked up upon by Hellenistic Jewish mystics and then incorporated into Merkabic Mysticism. Thus, in the Second Temple period, the Jewish mystic would descend (as if into the bowels of the pyramid to reach the night sky) into one of the seven Hekhalot or heavens to gaze upon God or his enthroned bodily manifestation, the kabod or ‘Glory’, and one was transforme or transfigured (in the same manner that Enoch was transformed into the archangel Metatron)–returning to Earth with a messianic message. One would then be said to have taken on a glorified body. This practice was relatively controversial with Sanhedrin authority and the Rabbinical establisment.

"Prophecy is, in truth and reality, an emanation sent forth by Divine Being through the medium of the Active Intellect, in the first instance to man's rational faculty and then to his imaginative faculty."–Maimonides

The Yi Jing, hexagram 50 (The Ritual Vessel): The truly divine does not manifest itself apart from humankind. The supreme revelation of God appears in prophets and holy men. To venerate them is true veneration of God. The will of God, as revealed thru them, should be accepted in humility; this brings inner enlightenment and true understanding of the world, and this leads to great good fortune and success.

50. Ding The Caldron Sun of Air A caldron, a concubine Flexibility, quick ear and eye

Cauldron; firm its auspice we may guess, realization, progress, and success.

Upset foul pots! thy whore earns mother fee. Before thou eat set guards about thy table! Frowns failure if thou be not equitable. Then shame on thee; thy case is pitiable. Gold ornaments men's firm sincerity. And rings of jade attest him honorable!

Ding means great progress and success. 1. The first line shows the cauldron upside down. But there will be advantage in thus getting rid of what was bad in it. A concubine profiting through her child. There will be good luck. 2. The second line shows the cauldron with its contents. “My enemy hates me, but can’t touch me.” There will be good luck. 3. The third line shows the cauldron with its ears changed. Progress is stopped. The fat pheasant meat is not eaten. But rain will come, and motives for regret will vanish. There will be good luck in the end. 4. The fourth line shows the cauldron with feet broken; and it contents, designed for the crown’s use, overthrown and spilled. One will blush for shame. There will be evil. 5. The fifth line shows the cauldron with ears of yellow metal. Firmness and correct behavior will bring advantage. 6. The sixth line shows the cauldron with jade ears. There will be great good luck, and any action executed will be advantageous.

Motta’s Commentary: Certain possible interpretations of this Hexagram are highly secret, and it would be improper to enlarge on them. We will limit ourselves to refer serious students to Liber 418, the 27th Aethyr, and A.C.’s notes thereto, as the beginning of a line of research that leads (for instance) to the deepest mysteries of the O.T.O.

1 Enoch 14: A vision thus appeared to me. Behold, in that vision clouds and a mist invited me; agitated stars and flashes of lightning impelled and pressed me forwards, while winds in the vision assisted my flight, accelerating my progress. They elevated me aloft to heaven. I proceeded, until I arrived at a wall built with stones of crystal. A vibrating flame surrounded it, which began to strike me with terror. Into this vibrating flame I entered; And drew nigh to a spacious habitation built also with stones of crystal. Its walls too, as well as pavement, were formed with stones of crystal, and crystal likewise was the ground. Its roof had the appearance of agitated stars and flashes of lightning; and among them were cherubim of fire in a stormy sky. A flame burned around its walls; and its portal blazed with fire. When I entered into this dwelling, it was hot as fire and cold as ice. No trace of delight or of life was there. Terror overwhelmed me, and a fearful shaking seized me. Violently agitated and trembling, I fell upon my face. In the vision I looked. And behold there was another habitation more spacious than the former, every entrance to which was open before me, erected in the midst of a vibrating flame. So greatly did it excel in all points, in glory, in magnificence, and in magnitude, that it is impossible to describe to you either the splendour or the extent of it. Its floor was on fire; above were lightnings and agitated stars, while its roof exhibited a blazing fire. Attentively I surveyed it, and saw that it contained an exalted throne; The appearance of which was like that of frost; while its circumference resembled the orb of the brilliant sun; and there was the voice of the cherubim. From underneath this mighty throne rivers of flaming fire issued. To look upon it was impossible. One great in glory sat upon it: Whose robe was brighter than the sun, and whiter than snow. No angel was capable of penetrating to view the face of Him, the Glorious and the Effulgent; nor could any mortal behold Him. A fire was flaming around Him. A fire also of great extent continued to rise up before Him; so that not one of those who surrounded Him was capable of approaching Him, among the myriads of myriads who were before Him. To Him holy consultation was needless. Yet did not the sanctified, who were near Him, depart far from Him either by night or by day; nor were they removed from Him. I also was so far advanced, with a veil on my face, and trembling. Then the Lord with his own mouth called me, saying, Approach hither, Enoch, at my holy word. And He raised me up, making me draw near even to the entrance. My eye was directed to the ground. 1

Enoch:71.10-17 And I beheld angels innumerable, thousands of thousands, and myriads and myriads, who surrounded that habitation. Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Phanuel and the holy angels who were in the heavens above, went in and out of it. Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel went out of that habitation, and holy angels innumerable. With them was the Ancient of days, whose head was white as wool, and pure, and his robe was indescribable. Then I fell upon my face, while all my flesh was dissolved, and my spirit became changed. I cried out with a loud voice, with a powerful spirit, blessing, glorifying, and exalting. And those blessings, which proceeded from my mouth, became acceptable in the presence of the Ancient of days. The Ancient of days came with Michael and Gabriel, Raphael and Phanuel, with thousands of thousands, and myriads and myriads, which could not be numbered. Then that angel came to me, and with his voice saluted me, saying, You are the Son of man, who art born for righteousness, and righteousness has rested upon you.

2 Enoch:22.1-9 ON the tenth Heaven, Aravoth, I saw the appearance of the Lord’s face, like iron made to glow in fire, and brought out, emitting sparks, and it burns. Thus I saw the Lord’s face, but the Lord’s face is ineffable, marvellous and very awful, and very, very terrible. And who am I to tell of the Lord’s unspeakable being, and of his very wonderful face? And I cannot tell the quantity of his many instructions, and various voices, the Lord’s throne very great and not made with hands, nor the quantity of those standing round him, troops of cherubim and seraphim, nor their incessant singing, nor his immutable beauty, and who shall tell of the ineffable greatness of his glory? And I fell prone and bowed down to the Lord, and the Lord with his lips said to me: ‘Have courage, Enoch, do not fear, arise and stand before my face into eternity.’ And the archistratege Michael lifted me up, and led me to before the Lord’s face. And the Lord said to his servants tempting them: ‘Let Enoch stand before my face into eternity,’ and the glorious ones bowed down to the Lord, and said: ‘Let Enoch go according to Thy word.’ 8 And the Lord said to Michael: ‘Go and take Enoch from out his earthly garments, and anoint him with my sweet ointment, and put him into the garments of My glory.' And Michael did thus, as the Lord told him. He anointed me, and dressed me, and the appearance of that ointment is more than the great light, and his ointment is like sweet dew, and its smell mild, shining like the sun’s ray, and I looked at myself, and was like one of his glorious ones.
